March 6th OAA February 2010 News OAA January 2010 News District 3 hosted their Governor's Cup district championship on January 9th. Remember, you may shoot in any district and your score will be applied to your home district so there are still 4 opportunities to participate. The 2010 Indoor Bowhunter Mail-In is now in the books with 48 shooters! Results have been posted. The 2010 OAA season began January 2nd. Check out the Scheduled Events page for more information. NFAA State Directors will hold their annual meeting at the World Archery Festival at Las Vegas in February. Ohio NFAA Director, Norm Newman, asks that all who are interested please review the 2010 NFAA Agenda and send him your comments. He is your voice within the NFAA. Let yourself be heard. Doug Sheliga was appointed as the new Senior Consultant. Congratulations. Chester Bowhunters and Archery Club is now affiliated with the OAA and will be a 300 Classifier and Vegas mail-in host club. OAA December 2009 News The Scheduled Events page has been updated with the dates and times for all winter shoots and the Governor's Cup events.
Columbus Grove Archery Club is now affiliated with the OAA and will be a Vegas mail-in host club. Matt Baringer has been appointed the new District 1 Governor. Congratulations. After 10 years of service, Dave Thewlis has stepped down as the NFAA Director for Ohio. Norm Newman steps into the role of NFAA Director for Ohio. Bob Holden has stepped down as President as Jeremy Evans assumes the post. We'd like to thank these gentlemen for their contributions to the organization and for those stepping into these roles.
